Hi friend!

My name is Kein Bartlett and I am a music photographer based out of St. Louis and Columbia, Missouri. I’m currently attending the University of Missouri – Columbia, studying Convergence Photojournalism, Emerging Media, and Computer Science. I shoot for a variety of different outlets, primarily for the Maneater (the university’s student-run newspaper) and for the bands themselves. My work has also been published in Eleven Music Magazine.

I am skilled in many types of photography and have shot events ranging from sports to weddings to theatrical performances. My true love, however, is music and music photography. A few years ago, I shot a concert at The Pageant in St. Louis, and fell in love. My single largest aspiration in life is to be a professional music photographer.

I have experience with a number of different applications and programs, and I work everyday to expand my knowledge. Some of the programs I can work include:

  • Lightroom 4
  • Photoshop CS4
  • HTML & Web Design
  • WordPress and various other CMS programs
  • Tricaster Live Production Systems
  • Final Cut Pro 7
  • Motion 4
  • DVD Studio Pro 4
  • Ableton, Audiomulch, Adobe Audition & Traktor Live Music Production
  • Various Live Mixing & Synth Systems (Pioneer CDJ 2000, various Moog systems, etc.)

I also have quite a bit of experience in producing and directing live and live to tape events.  Some of the events I have produced and directed include football games, basketball games, soccer games, beauty pageants and talent shows. I was awarded second place for TV/Video Production in the 2011 Illinois Skills USA Competition.
